
AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Bhutan D. Ganbold paid a courtesy call on Speaker of the National Assembly of Bhutan Wangchuk Namgyel on June 11, Montsame reported.
Upon receiving Ambassador D. Ganbold and the Mongolian delegation, Speaker of the National Assembly Wangchuk Namgyel expressed gratitude to Mongolia for providing scholarships to Bhutanese students to study traditional medicine and supporting Bhutan's livestock farming.
Mongolian Ambassador D. Ganbold highlighted similarities in history and traditions between Mongolia and Bhutan. He expressed eagerness to further foster relations between the two countries and emphasized the potential for mutual learning and cooperation.
The parties exchanged views on strengthening diplomatic relations and identifying avenues for expanding cooperation in various fields including the exchange of ideas and experience between the Parliaments of the two countries. They reaffirmed commitment to forging a strong partnership that would bring mutual benefits to the two countries.
