
AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbek medical workers will be trained in specialized centers of South Korea, the president's press service reported.
During the negotiations between President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol, an agreement was reached on the preparation and acceleration of the implementation of medical cluster projects, including a hospital for adults and an oncology clinic.
A long-term in-service training program for medical personnel will be launched in specialized centers in Korea.
The proposal to establish an institute based on the model of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in Uzbekistan was supported.
In cooperation with the Korean Institute of Public Administration and the National Institute of Human Resources, it is planned to open a training center for Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence at the Academy of Public Administration in Tashkent.
