Heavy rain causes mudflows from mountains on southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul
AKIPRESS.COM - A mudflow hit Tuura-Suu-2 village, Ton district, Issyk-Kul region.
Heavy rains caused mudlows from mountains on June 23, villagers said. The mud and stones blocked the road.
Special vehicles of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were deployed for clearing of the road.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations said it was not a mudflow, but a powerful stream of rain water.
No casualties and destructions are reported.
