The parties discussed the state and prospects for developing relations between Uzbekistan and India in political, trade, economic, investment and other spheres.

The importance of promoting joint projects in the textile industry, information technology, education and healthcare was noted.

The agenda of the negotiations also included issues of interaction between the two countries within the UN and its specialized agencies, the SCO and other multilateral structures.
