AKIPRESS.COM - President of the Swiss Confederation Viola Amherd is paying a state visit to Mongolia at the invitation of President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa. The visit commemorates the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Switzerland.

President Viola Amherd, together with the delegation, visited the Chinggis Khaan National Museum of Mongolia on August 2. They were met by museum director Chuluun Sampildondov, who gave them a tour of the museum, the press service of the President of Mongolia reported.

She also visited the exhibition "Chinggis Khaan: How the Mongols Changed the World," which was presented to more than 250,000 people in Nantes, France, last year.
