AKIPRESS.COM - The opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan took place in Budapest, Hungary, Turkmenistan newspaper reports.

A delegation of Turkmen artists, cultural figures, representatives of the film industry, and museum specialists arrived in the capital. A grand opening of a monument to the Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi will take place during the visit.

The opening ceremony featured exhibition with museum artifacts, fine and decorative arts of Turkmenistan and national melodies.

During the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Hungary, the delegation of Turkmenistan will take part in a festival dedicated to traditions of the Hunnic and Turkic peoples, which will be held in Bugac on August 9-11.
