AKIPRESS.COM - President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar is paying a state visit to Mongolia on August 20-21, Montsame reports.
During the visit, President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and President Nataša Pirc Musar held a tête-à-tête meeting at the State Palace of Mongolia on August 20. The two Presidents exchanged views on consolidating the achievements of 30 years of friendly relations and cooperation, as well as the development of the two countries and contributing to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The sides discussed opportunities to cooperate under Mongolia's long and medium-term development policies, "One Billion Trees" and "Food Supply and Security" National Campaigns, and the "President's Scholar-2100" Scholarship Program.
The two Presidents agreed to jointly implement initiatives and proposals put forward by the two sides on the international and regional arenas and combine efforts to combat climate change, desertification, and biodiversity loss, promote women's participation, and ensure gender equality.
