AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Mongolia to Sweden Munkh-Ulzii Tserendorj presented his Letter of Credence to King of Sweden Carl XVI Gustaf on September 4, the Foreign Ministry of Mongolia reports.

Ambassador Munkh-Ulzii Tserendorj forwarded greetings of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa to King of Sweden Carl XVI Gustaf and noted that this year marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Sweden. The Ambassador expressed commitment to actively developing relations and cooperation in numerous fields including trade, investment, environment, renewable energy, arts, and culture.

King of Sweden Carl XVI Gustaf was interested in the ancient ties between Mongolia and Sweden, Mongolian nomadic culture, and the tourism sector, and expressed confidence that the relations between the two countries would further develop and expand.
