0.3% deflation reported on consumer sector in August in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Reduction of consumer prices and tariffs by 0.3% was observed in Kyrgyzstan in August 2024 compared to the previous month, according to the National Statistical Committee.

Prices for non-food products increased by 0.6% over the month, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products became more expensive by 0.4%, tariffs for services provided to the population increased by 0.8%, while prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages decreased by 1.2%.
