AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Tajikistan Nizomiddin Zohidi met with Head of Khorasan Razavi Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Agriculture Mohammadreza Tavakullizoda as part of working visit to Mashhad on September 14, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.

The sides discussed the current state of bilateral trade and investment relations and focused on the issue of further strengthening trade and economic cooperation.

The necessity to expand cooperation and increase trade turnover between the two countries, as well as to establish joint ventures and exchange trade delegations was emphasized.

The Ambassador also held a meeting with the Heads of the Joint Chamber of Tajikistan and Iran and members of the Joint Council of Business Communities of the two countries, during which topical issues of cooperation in such areas as trade, investment and transport were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, Zohidi invited the Head of the Chamber and business circles of Khorasan Razavi to participate in the international exhibition of Tajikistan, which will be held in Dushanbe on October 24-26.
