AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Justice Altangerel Oyuunsaikhan proposed to create a central network for storing and processing information from all surveillance systems in Mongolia.
"A government resolution on some measures to prevent crime and offenses has been approved. 5,188 cameras have been installed in Ulaanbaatar and 5,924 cameras in the provinces since 2010," the Minister noted
Today, the government decided to create a central network center in Ulaanbaatar and a subcenter in provinces and districts.
"All cameras in Mongolia will be connected to one network through centers. About 8 billion tugriks will be spent in Ulaanbaatar and 20 billion tugriks in local districts on the surveillance camera system," he said.
