AKIPRESS.COM - "It would be good if former members rejoined the CIS family," Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the CIS Summit in Moscow, BelTA reported.
"It would be very good if Georgia returned to our family, if Moldova resumed its full participation, if the Ukrainian authorities came back to their senses, and we participate in the restoration of normal life in Ukraine. I am absolutely sure that this will happen. It's just a matter of time," the Belarusian leader said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized that the countries should appreciate what they have in the CIS. "All those who have not broken away from the CIS are showing decent results today. They have not lost control of their countries; they remain full-fledged subjects of international relations," the President said.
