AKIPRESS.COM - President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa received President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Odile Renaud-Basso on October 7, Montsame reported.

President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa expressed his gratitude to President of the EBRD Odile Renaud-Basso for financing around 140 projects over the past 18 years, amounting to 2.3 billion euros in loans and investments.

Khurelsukh Ukhnaa emphasized that the EBRD's funding provided in mining, banking, roads, transport, renewable energy, and small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly in the private sector, significantly contributes to Mongolia's social and economic development.

President of the EBRD Odile Renaud-Basso briefly presented the Bank's ongoing projects and programs implemented in Mongolia. Odile Renaud-Basso expressed EBRD's commitment to further collaborating on projects and programs aimed at developing a diverse and green economy.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development plans to enhance its investments in the banking sector, focusing on infrastructure, renewable energy, and the green development of Ulaanbaatar City, and supporting young entrepreneurs. President of the EBRD Odile Renaud-Basso expressed readiness to cooperate in all areas within the framework of the One Billion Trees and Food Supply and Security national campaigns.
