AKIPRESS.COM - A parliamentary delegation from Australia, led by President of the Senate Susan Lines, will make an official visit to Mongolia from October 16 to October 19, the press service of the Mongolian Parliament reported.

During the visit, Speaker of the Parliament of Mongolia D. Amarbayasgalan and President of the Australian Senate Susan Lines will hold official talks, deliberating on the expansion of bilateral relations, enhancement of inter-parliamentary cooperation, and other matters of mutual interest.

In addition, Susan Lines will pay a courtesy call on the President of Mongolia U. Khurelsukh.

This visit, the first ever by an Australian Senate President to Mongolia, is expected to play an important role in deepening political dialogue and mutual trust between Mongolia and Australia. It will also further strengthen cooperation between the two legislative bodies.
