AKIPRESS.COM - The world premiere of Australian director Peter Davis' documentary about Kyrgyzstan, "Seven Tribes, Seven Fathers," took place in London, the Tourism Development Fund reported.
The film was produced by Peter Davis and producer Josh Williams.
"I have always been fascinated by the Epic of Manas, and working with Manaschi Omurbek Toktogulov was a fantastic opportunity to try a new way of filming. We can't wait to bring old and new stories to life in this style around the world," the director said.
The film "Seven Tribes, Seven Fathers" shows Kyrgyz cultural traditions, kok-boru, hunting with golden eagles, contrasting them with modern city life and car culture in Bishkek.
