AKIPRESS.COM - The International Monetary Fund has raised its forecast for Mongolia's economic growth in 2025 from 6% (made in April 2024) to 7% (made in October 2024). 

This change positions Mongolia as one of the fastest-growing economies in the region for the coming year.

The forecast reflects favorable developments in Mongolia's mining sector, in particular an increase in the gold and copper content of copper concentrates, an increase in coal exports, and the effect of the 2025 budget policy.
