AKIPRESS.COM - As part of the state visit of President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Kyrgyzstan on November 5, a number of bilateral documents aimed at boosting Kyrgyz-Turkish cooperation have been signed.
President Sadyr Japarov and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed a joint statement on bringing strategic cooperation between the two countries to a comprehensive strategic cooperation level.
The following documents have been signed:
- Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the Government of Turkey on security cooperation;
- Agreement on the joint production of audiovisual services between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the Government of Turkey;
- Agreement between the Cabinet of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Turkey on joint management of Bishkek Hospital of Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship named after Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and training of citizens of Kyrgyzstan in the field of medicine and medical disciplines in Turkey;
- Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the Government of Turkey on animal health protection, animals trade and trade of products of animal origin;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey on cooperation in the field of energy, energy efficiency and energy conservation;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Trade of Turkey on mutual understanding and cooperation in the field of product safety and market control;
- Memorandum between the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of Turkey;
- Protocol on cooperation between the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Health of Turkey in the field of organ transplantation;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Secretariat of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic and the General Secretariat of the National Security Council of Turkey;
- Protocol between the State Customs Service of the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Trade of Turkey on cooperation in training and further training of personnel in canine activities;
- Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the State Agency for Public Service Affairs and Local Self-Government under the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the Office of Human Resources Management under the President of Turkey;
- Protocol on cooperation between the Archives of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Finance Office of the Administration of the President of Turkey and the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan;
- Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of migration between the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Interior of Turkey;
- Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Turkey on cooperation in the field of defense industry - through the Ministry of Defense of Kyrgyzstan;
- Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Turkey on the cancellation of the State external debt of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkey;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Deposit Protection Agency of Kyrgyzstan and the Savings Insurance Fund of Turkey;
- Framework agreement on implementation of the project for construction and operation of hydroelectric plants between the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan and JSC "Central Asia Investment Holding".
