AKIPRESS.COM - The transitional provisions of the Eurasian Economic Union's Technical Regulations "On safety of oil prepared for transportation and (or) use" (TR EAEU 045/2017) and "On safety of natural flammable gas prepared for transportation and (or) use" (TR EAEU 046/2018) have been extended to expire in 2024, the Eurasian Economic Commission said.
The validity of transitional provisions of the technical regulation on oil has been extended until January 1, 2027.
The validity of transitional provisions of the technical regulation on natural gas is determined until the date of enacting the international treaty on establishing the Union's common gas market, but not later than January 1, 2030.
These amendments were introduced in the decisions of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Board No. 36 dated March 6, 2018 and No. 39 dated March 19, 2019 on the proposals of the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan, respectively.
