AKIPRESS.COM - The Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis has officially reappointed Abdulla Aripov as the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan. The decision came after a formal proposal by the President and subsequent discussions among parliamentary members, Kun.uz reported.
During the session, Abdulla Aripov presented a comprehensive action plan for the Cabinet of Ministers, outlining both short-term and long-term development strategies. His program focused on advancing economic reforms, improving public welfare, and ensuring sustainable growth in Uzbekistan.
Members of parliament, including faction leaders, deliberated extensively on the candidate’s qualifications and the proposed government program. Following these discussions, the matter was put to a secret ballot.
The vote concluded with Aripov receiving majority support from the deputies, solidifying his position as the head of the government.
