AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania held the 6th political consultative meeting in Vilnius on November 19, GoGo reported.
The meeting was led by Director of the Europe and Africa Department G. Battungalag from the Mongolian side and Director of the India and Pacific Department Julius Pranevičius from the Lithuanian side.
During the consultation, both parties exchanged views on the political, social, and economic situations of Mongolia and Lithuania, as well as the major goals outlined in their long-term development policies.
They discussed potential avenues for collaboration within these frameworks. Particular attention was given to enriching bilateral cooperation with an economic dimension, expanding joint efforts in international freight transport and logistics, and exploring mutually beneficial partnerships in sectors such as education and agriculture.
Additionally, the sides agreed to finalize and establish key cooperation documents aimed at creating a favorable legal environment to enhance bilateral relations.
They also emphasized the importance of maintaining the tradition of collaboration within the frameworks of the United Nations and other international organizations and exchanged views on various international relations issues.
