AKIPRESS.COM - The Embassy of the Philippines in Beijing, the People's Republic of China, and the Honorary Consulate of the Philippines in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, jointly opened the Photo Exhibition titled “Explore and Love the Philippines: Philippine Archipelagic Culture and Identity” in Mongolia on December 9, 2024.
“The Republic of the Philippines, an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia with a land area of 300,000 square kilometers, is located in the western Pacific Ocean. The country consists of 7,640 islands. These islands, abundant with unique natural formations, draw a high number of tourists,” highlighted Mr. Jaime A. FlorCruz, the non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to Mongolia, at the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition. Ambassador Jaime A. FlorCruz also emphasized that the Philippines is focusing on fostering cooperation with Mongolia in education, tourism, and professional exchanges.
The Photo Exhibition titled “Explore and Love the Philippines: Philippine Archipelagic Culture and Identity” will continue until December 14, 2024, on the first floor of the Shangri-La Mall, Ulaanbaatar. Visitors will also have the opportunity to get travel information about the Philippines.
