About 10 people killed in attack on education center in Sweden

AKIPRESS.COM - At least 10 people, including the gunman, were killed Tuesday at an adult education center in mass shooting, Associated Press reported.

A final death toll, a conclusive number of wounded and a motive hadn't yet been determined yet. According to chief of local police Roberto Eid Forest, the damage cause was so significant that investigators cannot yet draw any definitive conclusions. The police believe that the gunman acted alone. He was a 35-year-old man armed with an automatic firearm.

Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson gave a news conference in the aftermath of the incident, where he said the tragedy is the worst mass shooting in the country's history.

According to Aftonbladet, Kristersson noted that there is currently no danger.

The education center, called Campus Risbergska, serves students over age 20, offers primary and upper secondary school courses, as well as Swedish classes for immigrants, vocational training and programs for people with intellectual disabilities.
