Dushanbe hosts 6th meeting of Special Envoys of EU and Central Asia for Afghanistan
AKIPRESS.COM - The 6th Meeting of the Special Representatives and Envoys of Central Asian States and the EU for Afghanistan was held in Dushanbe on February 5, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.
The meeting participants exchanged views on the socio-economic and political developments in Afghanistan since the last meeting in February 2024, as well as on the approaches of the Central Asian countries and the EU to assisting Afghanistan.
They also focused on the human rights situation, especially for women and girls, in Afghanistan and the security challenges and threats.
