
AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and Slovenia held political consultations in Dushanbe on February 12, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.
The delegation of Tajikistan was led by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ismatullo Nasredin, while the delegation of Slovenia was headed by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs Marko Stucin.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues, including the development of bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and Slovenia, cooperation within the European Union, collaboration within international organizations, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their readiness to expand cooperation, strengthen direct contacts, enhance the legal framework and increase trade turnover between Tajikistan and Slovenia.
