AKIPRESS.COM - A delegation of scholars, coaches, and faculty members from the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports is paying a working visit to South Korea, UzA reported.

The delegation held meetings with representatives of Korean sports organizations and educational institutions. They discussed student and faculty exchanges, developing joint programs, organizing international training camps for national teams, cooperating in scientific research and innovation, and attracting investments and grants to Uzbekistan.

"During negotiations with rectors of several South Korean universities, leaders of sports associations, and business representatives, we explored opportunities for establishing bilateral cooperation. We also discussed practical collaboration with companies specializing in the production of sports equipment in South Korea and reached relevant agreements," Rector of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports Rashid Matkarimov noted.
