AKIPRESS.COM - A final agreement for a project to produce cross-linked polyethylene raw materials in Uzbekistan has been signed, UzA reports, citing Uzbekneftegaz.
Under this agreement, the joint venture NASAF XCP TECHNO has been established, marking the project's official launch.
The enterprise has been created in collaboration with the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex, the Chinese company Yunnan Xinchengpeng Polymer Technology, and Techno Cable Group, which is part of the Uzeltechsanoat Association.
The project aims to localize the production of goods not previously manufactured in Uzbekistan and meet the domestic market's annual demand of 25,000 to 30,000 tons of products.
This $8 million project will reduce imports by $30 million annually, create 65 new jobs, and strengthen the domestic industrial sector.
