AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received copies of credentials from new Ambassador of Türkiye Ufuk Ulutaş, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan reports.

Uzbekistan and Türkiye actively collaborate on a bilateral level and expand regional cooperation.

"We are certain that our joint efforts will contribute to the prosperity and development of both countries. We congratulate the Ambassador on his appointment and wish him every success in his diplomatic mission," the Foreign Minister wrote on his Telegram channel.

Ufuk Ulutaş replaces Olgan Bekar, who served as Türkiye's Ambassador to Uzbekistan from 2021 to 2025.
