AKIPRESS.COM - An official welcome ceremony for President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took place at the Hôtel des Invalides in Paris as part of his state visit to France on March 12, UzA reported.

President of France Emmanuel Macron welcomed the leader of Uzbekistan.

A guard of honor was lined up on the square, consisting of service members from the Republican Guard, the French Army, Navy, and Air Force.

The leaders walked along the guard of honor and greeted members of the official delegations.

Following the ceremony, the President of Uzbekistan proceeded to the Élysée Palace, the residence of the President of France, where the main high-level bilateral talks will take place.
