AKIPRESS.COM - Tajikistan and the European Investment Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the sidelines of the Central Asia and the European Union Summit on April 4, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.

The memorandum outlines financing aimed at advancing the development of the transport sector to foster sustainable transport connections between Europe and Central Asia.

The agreement was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and Vice President of the European Investment Bank Kyriakos Kakouris.
