
AKIPRESS.COM - The National Pavilion of Uzbekistan at Expo 2025 in Osaka officially opened on April 13, UzA reported.
According to the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, the ceremony began with the ribbon cutting.
The event was attended by the Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, Gayane Umerova, Mayor of Osaka, Hideyuki Yokoyama, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Japan, Mukhsinkhuja Abdurakhmonov and architect of the project, Shirin Brückner.
After the ceremony, a tour of the pavilion was organized for the honored guests – Osaka Mayor Hideyuki Yokoyama and Nara Mayor Gen Nakagawa.
Shirin Brückner and Lebanese designer Nada Debs accompanied the guests. The participants got acquainted with the architectural concept and the exposition, which reflected Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage, sustainable development, and innovative future.
