6.2-magnitude earthquake jolts Istanbul

AKIPRESS.COM - The 6.2-magnitude earthquake occurred in Istanbul at 12:49 on April 23, Yeni Şafak reported.

The epicenter was at a depth of 10 km.

Before this, 3.9-magnitude earthquake occurred in the waters of the Sea of Marmara off the coast of the city of Silivri. The tremors were also felt in nearby areas.
