AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myakhri Byashimova and Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Turkmenistan Amer bin Ali Al-Shehri held a meeting on May 6, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reported.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations in the political, diplomatic and trade and economic spheres.

They exchanged views on issues of interaction within international structures, in particular the UN. The parties also considered the improvement of the contractual and legal base of bilateral relations.

Particular attention was paid to the development of partnerships in the cultural and humanitarian areas.
