AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Egypt to Uzbekistan Thamer Fathi Abdussalam Hammad and Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Jasurbek Choriyev held a meeting, UzA reported.

The parties considered issues aimed at strengthening transport sector cooperation. In particular, it was emphasized that the organization of direct air cargo transportation between the two countries will contribute to the growth of mutual trade.

They also noted the need to increase the number of flights between the regions and cities of the two countries to stimulate tourist activity.

The sides considered the possibility of cooperation in pilot training from Uzbekistan at the Egyptian Aviation Academy, a prestigious educational institution specializing in aviation training.
