AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan has over 26 tons of agricultural seeds to Afghanistan as humanitarian aid, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.

The shipment includes 5 tons of cotton seeds, 20 tons of rice, more than 50 kilograms of mung beans, and high-quality seeds for various melons and vegetables.

According to the Ministry, an official delegation led by Afghanistan’s Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock recently visited Uzbekistan. During the visit, the Afghan delegation toured agricultural enterprises, agro-clusters, and research centers in Tashkent and Samarkand regions, gaining insight into Uzbekistan’s agricultural advancements.
