AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and the Republic of Korea held political consultations at the level of heads of structural departments on May 13, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.

During the consultations, the parties expressed readiness to expand cooperation, strengthen inter-ministerial contacts, enhance the legal framework and development of economic cooperation between Tajikistan and the Republic of Korea.

The delegation of Korea was also received by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Farrukh Sharifzoda. The sides considered the development of bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and Korea, as well as the perspective spheres of collaboration in the framework of "Central Asia-Republic of Korea" Cooperation Forum.
