Around 100 Ukrainian children complete rehabilitation program in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Around 100 children from various regions of Ukraine have completed a 12-day recreation and rehabilitation program at the "Anor" children's camp in Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region, Kun.uz reported.

As announced by Ukrainian Ambassador to Uzbekistan Mykola Doroshenko on his Facebook page, over nearly two weeks, the children participated in intellectual games, sports competitions, ecological initiatives, and master classes in traditional Uzbek crafts, including pottery, wood carving, and painting.

Special attention in the program was given to familiarizing the children with the culture and traditions of Uzbekistan. The trip concluded with an excursion around Tashkent: the children visited historical landmarks, including the Abul Qasim Madrasah, the State Museum of Timurid History, and Taras Shevchenko Square, where they laid flowers at the monument to the Ukrainian poet.

Specialists from the Ministries of Culture, Sports, and Ecology of Uzbekistan, the Committee for Tourism, the Agency for Youth Affairs, the Writers' Union, the Academy of Arts, the Zakovat intellectual club, the "Barkamol Avlod" development centers, and the Artisans' Association participated in conducting the program for the children.
