At the instructions of Minister of Emergency Situations Boobek Ajikeyev, evacuation has begun for residents of Almaluu, Gornaya Serafimovka and Nizhnyaya Serafimovka villages.
Approximately 180 people, including individuals with disabilities, have been relocated from the potential flood zone.
Specialists from the Department of Emergency Monitoring and Forecasting are involved in monitoring the situation. Drones are being used to observe the lake’s condition and control the water flow.
An operational headquarters has been set up on site; rescuers and equipment are on high alert. The situation is being monitored around the clock.
Due to the increasing water volume from Takyr-Tor Lake, an operational group led by the head of the Chui regional emergency department is working on site.
As of 6:00 pm, an operational team from the State Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has also been deployed to the scene.
