16 people killed in suicide bombing in northwestern Pakistan

AKIPRESS.COM - At least 16 people were killed in a suicide bombing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, located in northwestern Pakistan, Agence France-Presse reported citing official sources and police.

The attacker drove a car filled with explosives into a group of soldiers. The powerful blast destroyed the roofs of two residential houses, resulting in the deaths of 16 people and injuring six children.

Preliminary reports initially stated that 13 people had been killed and 29 others wounded.
