AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Tajikistan to Turkey Sodiq Imoni met with Minister of Family and Social Services of Turkey Mahinur Odemir Goktas on July 29, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.

The parties discussed issues of exchanging experience and strengthening cooperation in the field of social protection of the population.

The importance of family was noted. The Ambassador emphasized that during the independence of Tajikistan the status of women in society has been elevated, especially in the light of the policies related to women's social and sectoral activities.
