AKIPRESS.COM - A delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Laos Thongsavanh Phomvihane will pay an official visit to Mongolia on August 19–23 at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh, Montsame reported.

During the visit, Minister Thongsavanh Phomvihane will pay courtesy calls on the heads of state and government of Mongolia and hold official talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsetseg Batmunkh.

The Foreign Minister will attend the 10th Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Forum for East Asia–Latin America Cooperation (FEALAC), which will take place in Ulaanbaatar on August 20–22.

The two sides will exchange views on a wide range of issues, including expanding and deepening bilateral cooperation in trade and economy, including in agriculture, transport, and logistics, as well as in the fields of education, culture, and humanitarian affairs, along with strengthening collaboration at international and regional fora.
