
AKIPRESS.COM - China will hold a military parade on September 3 at Tiananmen Square in Beijing to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and World War II, CCTV reports.
A total of 26 foreign leaders will participate in the commemorative events, including:
- Vladimir Putin (Russia)
- Kim Jong Un (North Korea)
- Sadyr Japarov (Kyrgyzstan)
- Kassym-Jomart Tokayev (Kazakhstan)
- Shavkat Mirziyoyev (Uzbekistan)
- Aleksandar Vučić (Serbia)
- Ilham Aliyev (Azerbaijan)
and other leaders from Asia, Africa and Europe.
The parade will also feature a display of modern Chinese military equipment, including several types of fighter jets, some of which are upgraded models.
