AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov will pay a working visit to China from August 31 to September 3 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Japarov will take part in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit of heads of state, where key regional and international cooperation issues will be discussed. At the end of the summit, Kyrgyzstan will assume the SCO chairmanship, and Japarov will present the country's priorities for the upcoming term.

The Tianjin Declaration and several agreements in political, economic and energy sectors are expected to be signed.

In addition, the president will participate in events marking the 80th anniversary of victory in World War II and will hold a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
