AKIPRESS.COM - President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree granting clemency to 615 individuals in celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the adoption of Uzbekistan's Constitution, Kun.uz reported.

The pardon applies to inmates who were serving prison sentences, expressed sincere remorse for their actions, and demonstrated a firm commitment to rehabilitation.

The decree was issued in accordance with Article 109, Clause 23 of the Constitution of Uzbekistan.
