
AKIPRESS.COM - The Embassy of Italy in Mongolia is organizing Italian Week in Ulaanbaatar for the first time, Montsame reported.
During these days, contemporary Italian culture and outstanding achievements, showcasing art, design, fashion, music, and lifestyle, are being presented to the public.
As part of the program, the exhibition "Italy Is Fashion – Italian Notes" opened at the Chinggis Khaan National Museum on February 12.
The exhibition presents the world of design and fashion through works by leading Italian designers. For example, it features garments created by Valentino Garavani, as well as works by renowned designers such as Gio Ponti.
In addition, sketches and visual materials of costumes designed by Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti for the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma's 2016 production of La Traviata, staged by Sofia Coppola, are also on display.
The Zanabazar Museum of Fine Arts is hosting the exhibition "When the Center Shifts", featuring works by contemporary artists Luca Buvoli, Pietro Ruffo, and Bekhbaatar Enkhtur. This is the first exhibition of works by this Mongolian artist, who studied and lived in Italy, in Mongolia.
