AKIPRESS.COM - President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa arrived on a state visit to Kazakhstan from April 20 to April 23 at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. 

The President was welcomed at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport in Astana by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu, along with Mongolian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Batjargal Gunaajav and other officials. 

During the visit, the two heads of state will hold a tête-à-tête meeting, official talks, and brief representatives of the media. 

President Khurelsukh is also scheduled to meet with the Chairperson of the Parliament of Kazakhstan and the Prime Minister to exchange views on bilateral relations and cooperation. 

The sides are expected to sign intergovernmental and inter-agency documents that will make an important contribution to strengthening the legal foundation of bilateral relations. 

As part of the state visit, President Khurelsukh will attend the Regional Ecological Summit in Astana.
