
AKIPRESS.COM - The national team of schoolchildren from Turkmenistan delivered a successful performance at the 60th International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad (IMChO), which took place in Moscow from April 15 to 23, Turkmenistan Habarlary reported.
This prestigious intellectual competition brought together about 200 students from 37 countries around the world to test their knowledge and skills in the field of chemistry.
Following a period of intense competition, the Turkmen chemistry experts earned two silver and two bronze medals.
The International Mendeleev Olympiad, which dates back to 1967, traditionally gathers winners of national championships from graduating and pre-graduating classes. The anniversary forum was organized by the Faculty of Chemistry of Lomonosov Moscow State University in collaboration with the Andrey Melnichenko Foundation.
