AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin held talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Bochorishvili on June 19, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.

The parties discussed the further development of bilateral relations. Particular attention was given to the prospects for political dialogue, as well as to strengthening trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

The sides exchanged views on important topics on the international agenda and expressed their readiness to strengthen cooperation within international structures, in particular the UN and its relevant bodies.

They expressed their readiness to strengthen and expand constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Georgia.
