Ambassador Bulgan highlighted that the state visit of the President of Mongolia to Italy in December 2025 marked a historic milestone in bilateral relations, elevating Mongolia-Italy relationship to a strategic partnership and opened a new chapter of cooperation between the two countries.

The Ambassador noted that Mongolia considers Italy as its third neighbor and important partner within the European Union. She emphasized that strengthening the strategic partnership with Italy across all sectors is a key priority of Mongolia's foreign policy.

President Sergio Mattarella expressed his satisfaction with the steady advancement of Mongolia-Italy relations and wished Ambassador success in her tenure.
