AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Idibek Kalandar met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Eui-hae Cecilia Chung in Astana on July 30 on the sidelines of the Senior Officials' Meeting held in preparation for the First Summit of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.

The meeting focused on preparations for the First Summit of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea.

The two sides also discussed the current state of bilateral relations and explored opportunities to further strengthen mutually beneficial multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the Republic of Korea.
