Ascent of Big Chimgan in Uzbekistan
The Big Chimgan Mountain (3,309 meters) is not the highest mountain peak in Uzbekistan but it is a very popular holiday destination. It is located 80 km from Tashkent. In winter, the mountain is favorite place of skiers and snowboarders, and in spring, summer and early autumn – of mountaineers, trekkers and mountain amateurs.
